Terms and Conditions

This agreement is made between NEProjector.co.uk Ltd as owner of the equipment (hereinafter called the owner) and the hirer.

The following is agreed :

1: The owner will let and the hirer will take on hire the Audio Visual Equipment.

2: The equipment may be used during the period of the hire only by persons appointed by the hirer.

3: The duration of the hire shall be as agreed before the Audio Visual Equipment is delivered.

4: The hirer shall pay to the owner as payment for the hire of the equipment for the period specified in Clause 3 of this agreement the sum stated in the final agreement..

5: The equipment is solely the responsibility of the hirer during the hire period. Any damage or loss to the equipment (excluding software) must be reported immediately to the police and to the owner.

6: The hirer must ensure that -

(a) The equipment is kept in a safe and dry place.
(b) The equipment is locked up when not in use and not be left unattended at any time.
(c) The equipment is not stored in a vehicle at anytime.

7: The owner shall supply the equipment in a safe and useable condition.

8: The hirer acknowledges that they responsible for damage or loss of the equipment.

9: If the equipment is damaged or requires repair whether because of an accident or breakdown, the hirer shall advise the owner of the full circumstances by telephone or email as soon as practicable. The hirer should NOT attempt to repair the equipment themselves.

11: The hirer shall not sublet or hire the equipment to any other person or company without the prior permission of the owner.

12: The hirer should not permit the equipment to be operated outside his authority

13: The hirer shall deliver the equipment at the agreed time, or obtain the owner's consent to the continuation of hire.

14: If the hirer wishes to cancel the order within 48 working hours of the delivery (Monday to Friday) then the hirer is liable for the full cost of the hire.

15: The owner shall have the right to terminate the hiring and take immediate possession of the equipment if the hirer fails to comply with any of the terms of this agreement, or if the equipment is damaged. The termination of the hiring under the authority of this clause shall be without prejudice to the other rights of the owner and the rights of the hirer under this agreement or otherwise.
